Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

I saw a question about superman not being recognized as clark when it's only glasses that disguise him. OK, so how does he shave and cut his hair??? I mean, a razor blade would just break. And it's not like his hair is different. He goes through explosions, fires, ice, lava, and space. Those things do not damage his hair. So how does he stay clean shaved and with short hair???

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

he;s like an oven...auto-clean up!!!!!!

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

The answer I heard on this was that he uses a mirror and his heat vision to shave and cut his hair.

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

tat is a good question maybe he cant grow like a beard or something

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

hair doesn't grow on the faces of his people.

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

He shaves with his heat vision. He beams it at a reflective piece of metal from his ship, and it burns the hair off of his face. Hope this helps!

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

I actually asked the same question a couple of months ago. Apparently he uses his heat vision and a mirror cut his hair and shave.

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

he uses his laser vision bounced from a mirror to shave.

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

why are you so concerned with supermans hair? and besides..superman=man of steel

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

i guess ur right cuz in smallville when lois was possessed or lana(i forget) by witches they needed a lock of his hair for a spell. however they were shocked that the comb broke when she tried to comb his hair. So im guessing diamond combs and super diamond razor blade

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

I always figured he kept a little piece of kryptonite in his bathroom. Soften his skin up for just a few minutes so he could shave, and if he accidentally cut himself... well just put the kryptonite in its lead box, step into the sun and be healed.

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

Because it's just a movie. That's like asking when does he go to the bathroom? or When a tree falls in the woods... does anyone hear it?

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

I did see in one (cartoon) episode of superman that he used his heat rays to shave himself by using a mirror. I guess you could do the same with the hair on the head. And remember superman isn't human, maybe kryptonian hair only grows so long?

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

He visits Barbarman, the local superhero barbar who has the unique power to keep all the nearly indestructable superheroes looking suave. It's either Barbarman or instead of a razor, he uses a system of high quality mirrors and his heat vision.

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

I saw a theory somewhere that said he shaved with a minute peice of kryptonite and a mirror by bouncing his heat vision off the kryptonite, as for his hair i would guess krypto dust coated scissors...not really sure on that one

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

Superman doesn't have a beard so his face wouldn't get caught on fire. He shaves just like any man. When he's disguised as Clark Kent, he gets a hair cut just like any man would do.

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

depends on which superman you are referring to: movie/tv or comic book. the fact that superman can be fired at by rockets, go through th earth's atmosphere, and walk through fire without a "hair out of place" is due to his imperviousness to harm. the hair on his head does not grow and conversely his facial hair does not grow. no grow, no haircut, no shave. the shaving via the heat beam and mirror was a concept brought up in cartoons for cute and humor purposes for the kids that watched. the comic book superman did get haircuts and did have to shave and he was no different than any man in regards to that. there were several issues with his hair down to his shoulders and with him with a five o'clock shadow.

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

He uses his own heat vision

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

From what I've read, they don't ordinarily grow. Once, when exposed to red kyrptonite, they did, but were shaved by Krypto and Supergirl, using their combined heat vision. A rather goofy explaination, but I don't write it. I just read it, sometimes.

Shouldn't superman have long hair and a beard?

The explanation I have seen, and I forget the source, is that his scalp hair grows really slow, and his facial hair is groomed with heat vision reflected of a shiny metal piece(either from his ship, or just polished scrap iron)
