i have thick long long hair too and i love it, actualy after i had my baby my hair started to fall off after 3 months and now is a little thinner and slikier. but my aunts also have lomg hair and tehy go to the salon so tehy can cut some hair from the middle.. im not sure how tehy do it, i think they shave some hair, but it looks very thin after they are done. I know alot of asian girls do it to tehir hair, one of my friends had very light silky hair and she told me she did teh same thing. Go to a salon and ask them how tehy can make it thinner. if you dont brush your hair it will be more managable. When you brush your hair its actually unhealthy for your hair and it makes it look even thicker. some people have told me that its better not to wash your hair for 2 or 3 days so the natural greace can help your hair get smoother and shinnier. ok this is a lot of info.. but i had an armenian friend who told me a lot of armenian girls shave their head to have better hair, which i've personally seen and its very true, i never had teh guts to shave my head though

Try buying a better starightener and then buy a big curling iron...Then seperate your hair into sections and then have each curl about 2 inches...lol =D

Do you use conditioner? That will help.

Also you can get thinning scissors, to remove some excess.
