Hair styles for long hair?!?!?

I have hair all the way to my butt. I really need some help on how to style it. Any ideas to style it? HELP!!!

Try pulling some hair from each side of your face, gathering it at the back of your head, and clipping it with a cool clip. You can leave some loose strands around your face. If you have a little curl or wave to your hair, it will be accentuated in the bit that you have clipped. (I have hair to my waist, and I usually get compliments on that kind of style...) :)

Hello...My hair is also down to my butt.....cant do nothing but wear it down. Some times I get it braided, cornrolls...it be real cute :)

I have the same problem! Since you can't do much with long hair since it's so heavy, I try to keep the hair off my face-if it's not in my face, that's a big help! I usually get 2 strands, one from each side and pull it bag and clip it. I also use like a headband to keep it pulled back-that's a big help. I also use a scrungee to tie it all up-that's if I am not dressed up or in the evenings. I really hope some of this helps!

Mine reaches a little past the top of my legs (just below my butt)...I usually keep it braided and out of the way, but here are some other fun things I've found:

When you want it off your back, but not in a bun...Pull it in a high ponytail then tie it in a knot, pushing the knot over the scrunchie to hide it. This brings it to mid-back. To get it up even higher, tie a second knot. This can be done with braided hair for a nice variation! (Feels sooo good in the summer when you could use short hair without the haircut!)

Here's what it looks like:

A long style: put your hair in a ponytail, then divide your hair at the base of the scrunchie so that you have a hole in the middle. Flip your hair through then readjust the ponytail. Divide the ponytail into two sections, then braid each one. Clasp the braids together at the end. That one's hard to describe -- here's a pic to give a general idea. It was done when my hair was ABOVE my butt, which goes to show you don't need super-long hair to do it :-)

Another one, but it takes a LOT of pins to hold it into place:

Divide your hair into two parts -- one on the left and the other on the right. Braid each side. You can make a wreath on top of your head with the braids...be sure to tuck the ends under! (This is a nice old-fasioned looking style! It's worn very close to the head, so you can't feel any hair sticking out...it can also be done on the back of the head)

foe-hawk and braids. Or that and braids/ pigtails. So the upper half is a braid and the rest is just a normal pigtail.
